Mary S. Lombardo, V.M.D.
Dr. Lombardo started Mahoning Valley Animal Hospital in 1989. She is a 1984 graduate of University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and received her B.S. in Animal Science from Penn State in 1979. Dr. Lombardo has a strong interest in all aspects of canine and feline medicine and surgery. She has excellent communication skills and likes teaching clients about their pets needs. When not working, you will find her with her husband Joseph or with one of her many animal family members. She likes to travel and a favorite saying is “I enjoy going somewhere I have never been before.”

Christopher B. Carpenter, D.V.M.
Dr. Carpenter joined Mahoning Valley Animal Hospital in 2006 after gaining 10 years of experience in canine and feline medicine and surgery. He is a 1996 graduate of Iowa State University School of Veterinary Medicine. He earned his Masters in Biology from East Stroudsburg State University in 1992. He is a native of Lehighton, Pa. and graduated from Lehighton Area High School in 1987. He and his wife, Kelli, have two sons and completing his family are three dogs, a cat and a flock of chickens. During his free time, Dr. Carpenter enjoys spending time with his family, the outdoors, fishing and wine making.
